4. Mash the bananas and beat them into the butter mixture.

5. Beat in the eggs or flax eggs and vanilla extract.

6. Gradually stir in the flour mixture and then fold in the carob powder.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

8. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes in the pan before removing it from the pan and letting it cool completely on a wire rack.
